Public Service is not just a phrase. It’s a nationwide commitment to the betterment of our communities through passionate volunteerism of our expertise, skills, and resources that makes the difference for local non-profit organizations who need a little help telling their extraordinary stories.

 

It’s one of the qualities that set Ad 2 apart from other advertising-related organizations. For more than 40 years, Ad 2 chapters from around the country have donated holistic advertising and marketing campaigns for those doing meaningful work for important causes and changing lives.

2023 Client

Amarillo Habitat for Humanity

In June 2024, Ad 2 Amarillo proudly presented our public service campaign at ADMERICA, earning 3rd place nationally in public service for the first time! Our 2023 client, Amarillo Habitat for Humanity (AHFH), is dedicated to bringing people together to build homes, communities, and hope.  Since 1981, Amarillo Habitat for Humanity has completed more than 100 homes in our community. Habitat builds three-to-five-bedroom homes for low-to-median income families who qualify and complete the program requirements. The best part about a Habitat home is that it is provided to a family with a 25-30 year, no interest mortgage loan. As a result, this allows for a lower monthly payment and more income stability for the family. They are making home ownership in Amarillo possible, that’s why this client was a no-brainer for us!

 

Furthermore, Ad 2 Amarillo pitched our services of event planning, social media content development, and public relations to AHFH Director of Business Development and they were sold! The Director of Business Development allowed Ad 2 Amarillo to assist with the planning and promotion of the 2nd Annual Pickle Ball Bash! Ad 2 Amarillo provided their services pro bono to AHFH, which included event planning support, rallying local sponsors, and crafting social media campaigns for event registration, awareness, and sponsor acknowledgements.

 

Our primary goals were to increase event awareness, promote engagement on social media, ensure team registration met targets set by both AHFH and Ad 2 Amarillo, and helped AHFH raise at least 25% more funds compared to the previous year. This campaign not only showcased our commitment to community service but also significantly contributed to the success of Amarillo Habitat for Humanity in which they are now accepting applicants for their next home build!
